How to tell if a database is being used?

Hi, I've taken over a websites that have several databases in the cpanel. Is there a way to tell if database is in use or not? I want to delete unneeded databases. Thanks, Kim

  I typically start by looking at the modified dates if the files and I also search the site code for the database names to see if there's any reference to them.
