should I upgrade

Am I suppose to upgrade from v86.0.21 to 88.0.10 because 86 is no longer being upgraded?

  86 is still supported/upgraded. It's the current LTS release, so it has quite a bit of life left in it (in cPanel terms).

  If you"d like to remain on v86 as @ffeingol noted it is the LTS version and will remain supported until next year. v88 is in RELEASE which means it is the most current release of the product suitable for production
