can I delete modsec_audit folder safely

Hello On our servers, there is a folder /var/log/apache2/modsec_audit that has some logfiles. The folder contains cpanel user names folders which contain files with dates in the form of dates eg 20190328 Is it safe to delete this folder with rm -rf or will it cause any issues with running of apache or mod security?

  These are log files like any other log files, just for ModSecurity. I wouldn't suggest removing the most recent but you should be able to remove older logs without issue.
