Having a difficult time giving out admin priv
I've had a friend build a portion of a server I am hosting and has mostly gone missing due to work reasons. However, I have another dev wanting to take his place and I can't give him the same administrative privileges. I've read a bunch of stuff and had a few people look into it, but everyone's given up. I am at a standstill until I am able to give someone proper admin privs, and I don't want to bug my friend further. I've given ftp and it appears I've given all the same accesses as the original dev.

What access had you given the other dev previously? How did he access the server? What could the prior guy do that the current person cannot? 0 -
I gave the other dev access to mysql, ftp. I've put the path file to public_html. Essentially, none of the other devs can even access the website itself. I've tried making a sub account test user and I can't even access the website. I seen you guys offer a service that you guys offer customer support for payment. I think I might be interested in that. I have a lot of people waiting on me to solve this. Edit: No sub users can sign in. 0 -
We offer free technical support for the cPanel/WHM product to everyone who has a cPanel license. You can purchase priority support as well for faster service. Is the document root for the site itself in public_html? If you create yourself a user and allow it access to /home/$user/ are you then able to access the site?0 -
Ok, the issue has been resolved. My host told me I can't make new cpanel accounts and assumed I was talking about game panel accounts. 0
