    What access had you given the other dev previously? How did he access the server? What could the prior guy do that the current person cannot?

    I gave the other dev access to mysql, ftp. I've put the path file to public_html. Essentially, none of the other devs can even access the website itself. I've tried making a sub account test user and I can't even access the website. I seen you guys offer a service that you guys offer customer support for payment. I think I might be interested in that. I have a lot of people waiting on me to solve this. Edit: No sub users can sign in.

    Is the document root for the site itself in public_html? If you create yourself a user and allow it access to /home/$user/ are you then able to access the site?

    Ok, the issue has been resolved. My host told me I can't make new cpanel accounts and assumed I was talking about game panel accounts.
