GSUITE error 18014
Hello!
Just got my registration here and found out that a lot of you had issues with cPanel + gsuite.
Unfortunately none of previous threads is about the same error i'm getting.
I'm using a cPanel account for my website and e-mails for about 4 years but now as i'm over my disk quota, i decided to move my e-mails to gsuite.
The configurations was very simple and I got all my original mail accounts to gsuite, except for one specific user.
4 users fully migrated with the Data migration tool,
but this 1 user, I'm getting the error:
" 18014 The default personal namespace of the user is set incorrectly. If the server supports the

dovecot does support namespaces and because the other accounts were able to be moved without issue I wonder if the current issue is just that the index file is corrupt. What is the result after you run the following: /scripts/remove_dovecot_index_files --user $username
And try the migration again?0 -

I'll send this code to my host to run it. in $username i think i should change to the user right? Like/scripts/remove_dovecot_index_files --user $jose
as soon as i try again i'll give the follow up here. Thank you0 -
code executed [root@centos ~]# /scripts/remove_dovecot_index_files --user account - (1/1) Processing cPanel user: 'account' " [+] 'account' processed. [root@centos ~]# where account is the cPanel account, not the mailbox user but the 18014 still remains :(

Just to add on that I'm having the exact same problem -- some email accounts -- all in the same user account -- (I think they might be newer, but can't remember for certain) are migrating correctly, but so far, most are not. I've tried the script above, and didn't seem to have any success, I've also tried repairing mailbox permissions and removing nested (2nd level) folders... so far no luck. 0 -
@visualp is this occurring with all accounts or just one? @guimartinsweb - I've been researching this but I haven't come up with anything new, if this issue is just occurring with one mailbox Do either of you have any customizations added to the dovecot configuration? (I feel that you would know if you'd done this) - the following is dovecot's documentation on namespaces 0 -

Unfortunately, I'm only trying to transfer one account right now, so I don't know if this would be the case with all accounts. But from within that one account -- transfer.com, say -- email1@transfer.com worked great, email2@transfer.com gives me the "18014 The default personal namespace..." error email3@transfer.com gives me the same error, email4@transfer.com goes through just fine... It seems arbitrary. I've tried re-starting the transfers, etc., but Google insists that it is an error from our mail server. I don't know if I've ever transferred mail accounts to GSuite from this server before, so I can't say whether this has ever happened before but I'm 99% certain that we've never added any customizations to the dovecot namespaces -- and that would certainly affect every mailbox on the account, right? I'm just looking for some sort of workaround right now as our customers are getting irritated that we're unable to migrate them. I suspect, though I can't say for sure, that it's an issue of the older mailboxes being the ones that aren't working (we've had this account on our server for >10 years). Anything you can think of that we could try would be most welcome!0 -

I believe there are some changes you can make for specific accounts.I'm just looking for some sort of workaround right now as our customers are getting irritated that we're unable to migrate them. Ultimately the only workaround for this that I can think of would be to use a mail client to synchronize the mail. but that might be a bit of work. Since you have root access to the server and @guimartinsweb doesn't on his server could you possibly open a ticket with us? Maybe there is more than is occurring that our analysts can find.0
