Backup Only Server

I don"t like account level backups running on the same server that is delivering the websites. I am used to backup appliances doing my backups. I wonder if it is possible to establish a backup only server. It connects to each of the WHM in your cluster and backs up the accounts. CPU is mostly offloaded to the backup server. You can then store the files in a backup data store Of your choice. The web server is not doing as much work. The only reason I do the current Cpanel backup is an easy way to get access to a per account File or database. My system wide backups are byte level and run very fast on three different backup appliances. just an idea. Maybe nobody else will find it useful.
