How to Stop Automatically Update/updatenow or upcp?
Hello Sir, from somedays I am seeing that in my server automatically upcp runs.
Today I recieved a email "
cPanel version change from "11.88.0.11" to "11.88.0.12" failed during updatenow. "
it seems that when new update is comes then it will automatically running upcp .
but I want to stop that ,
I want that if any update will come then it will show me in whm header like normally and when I click on that and then click on Update then it will update cpanel to latest version.
Please tell me how can I stop that automatically update upcp and how can I set that whm update ?

This can be changed in WHM. Please review Update Preferences | cPanel & WHM Documentation for further info. 0 -
It might be in /var/spool/cron/root (?) 0 -
I solved it by editing /etc/cpupdate.conf I set RPMUP and UPDATES to manual 0 -
Actually, this can't be changed in the UI anymore and the server will continue to update to the most recent version within the tier you've selected. I absolutely would never advise anyone to stop receiving minor updates, this is negligible and can leave your server vulnerable. Rather than stop updates, you should be identifying the cause of the failure. 0
