Error WHM on AWS with Auto Scaling
I am trying to install WHM on AWS with Auto Scaling.
I get an error when creating the instance:
Description: launching a new EC2 instance. Status Reason: In order to use this AWS Marketplace product you need to accept terms and subscribe. To do so please visit AWS Marketplace: cPanel&WHM for Linux. Launching EC2 instance failed. |
Cause: At 2020-07-17T21:03:22Z an instance was started in response to a difference between desired and actual capacity, increasing the capacity from 0 to 1. |

This error looks to be specific to the instance you created on Amazon, not something controllable by cPanel unfortunately. 0 -
You're not going to be able to auto scale a cpanel server in any case for lots of different reasons. 0 -

Thanks for your answer. That's what I realized. Can you recommend a solution to automatically scale a single instance (increase capacity without adding more instances)?0 -

I realized, you just had to accept the terms and conditions on the AWS Marketplace.0 -
im trying to check on amazon efs, im thinking that it might work. EC2 for the operating system EFS for the accounts /home ( should be scalable) Amazon Aurora ( for database ) 0 -
does cpanel support auto scaling? 0 -
You can easily scale up a cPanel server if it's hosted on Cloud service ( increase CPU/ram etc - the max limit will depend on your provider ) or you can set up a web cluster to scale out (by adding more instance) 0 -
we're currently on azure and i have to shutdown, resize and start the vm always. 0
