    Instead of deleting the DNS zones, you can simply disable the nameservers on your server and use the external nameservers, or do you have a specific reason to delete them?

    Hi cPanelLauren, when I tried to delete, the following message appeared: You cannot remove the domain "xxxxx.xxx" because it is still configured for HTTP use on the "xxxxx" account. In order to remove the domain, perform any of the following actions: Remove the domain from the account with the "List Subdomains" interface.

    Right, as long as the domain exists you wouldn't be able to remove the associated zone file. If you remove it from the subdomain list the associated DNS zone file would automatically be removed. What exactly are you trying to accomplish maybe there's another way to achieve your end goal?
