Hi @Mrinmoy, With the other three methods, you can transfer the backup file to a remote server via FTP, SFTP or SCP. You may refer to the following link for more information: Backup Wizard | cPanel & WHM Documentation It's important to remember with Full Backup, the .tar.gz backup file is being stored on the same server as your website so it's important to download it and keep it in several locations. Hope that helps.

Hi everyone, does the full back up option create a back up for child cpanel accounts, what they call resold accounts? Thanks and sorry for throwing my questions here but I couldn't find a similar thread.

My database gets backedup every hour. Now, as you can imagine its a bit work even if do download a copy once after a few hours. So, I was wondering if there is any way to automatically download it another machine or so, just like the cron job which backs up the database every hour. Then it will be very helpful for me. That's why I was asking about SFTP and SCP options.

You can use the "Additional Destinations" for exactly that. I think most/many do incremental backups with rsync, which can be done to a remote rsync server/service as well. You can also use tools like JetBackup for a more granuary backup configuration :)

I recommend that you create a new post for that :) - but a backup configuration in cPanel backs up what you configure it to backup. It doesn't backup reseller accounts as such, but can backup all individually accounts.

You can use one of the backup API functions to automatically backup and send the backup via FTP, SCP or store in your homedir. The available functions are listed here: UAPI Modules - Backup - Developer Documentation - cPanel Documentation
