AutoSSL (let's encrypt) for external hosted Domains not working
Hi,
We are going to host a couple of websites on our Cpanel/WHM server.
DNS management is done at the registrar and not on the Cpanel server.
When we create the account, we select "Use the nameservers specified at the Domain"s Registrar. (Ignore locally specified nameservers.)"
For some reason the Auto SSL function doesn't work properly.
It's show a red lock when going to manage ssl hosts for the * and www record.
Green locks show for cpanel./cpcalendars./cpcontact./mail./webdisk. and webmail., but those records don't exist at the registrars dns settings.
What is going wrong here and how can we prevent this in de future?
Al ready deleted and re-created the account.
Thnx in advance for any solution.

After posting this question we had a "bright" idea and ran some additional checks. The error was due to a typo in the IPv6 address .. so this post is al ready resolved. 0 -
