HELP: WHM Server not sending emails: connection timeout error
Hello,
Please i need urgent help.
I noticed WHM stopped sending mails on all the cPanel accounts on the server, this was working perfectly before, but just stopped.
We have checked and troubleshoot if either the IP was blacklisted but, IP is fine.
Exim error log shows : Connection timeout, the cPanel accounts can receive emails but sending emails out will timeout and never delivers.
Here is the error log from our mail report log

retry time not reached for any host for 'domain.com'

Connection timed out
I will appreciate if anyone can help out to resolve this issue.

Hello, We'll need more information than this to assist you. - Is this occurring for all domains you're attempting to send to or just specific domains?
- What is present in
/etc/resolv.conf
? - Are the domain/s you're attempting to send from utilizing SPF and DKIM?
- Do you have a valid PTR record for all IPs on the server which resolves to a valid hostname?

Thank you for your feedback, here is what is in the /etc/resolv.conf file generated by /usr/sbin/dhclient-script nameserver 168.63.129.16 search domain.com vps.domain.com 1qokpf1l5nqu3abj5y4dv2oi4e.ax.internal.cloudapp.net domain.com The resolver ip address from Azure. Yet, every mails we sent out keeps timing out. Please help what can i do? 0 -

PLEASE I STILL NEED HELP Can anybody help me with this issues of mails not deliver to destination on my VPS server, yet emails are coming in. Anybody with this issue and able to resolve for me? 0 -
Can you try adding the following in /etc/resolv.conf in place of what is there currently? nameserver 8.8.8.8 nameserver 8.8.4.4
Also, can you confirm whether or not Azure blocks outbound port 25?0
