Message-ID Not found

Greetings, I'm new to cpanel and the exim environment, but is it true that any email sent from the server will have a Message-ID automatically generated? we are trying to send a transaction related message to the client, but got bounced by their server. The error they provided was the missing Message-ID. Our Cpanel server version: v86.0.25 Operating system: CentOS 6.1 Is there a workaround for this, maybe fixing it through ACL maybe?   Yes all messages that exim sends will have a Message ID assigned to them. How exactly are you sending the email??

  Hi Lauren, We have an app server that sends message to our mail server, before the email is sent out to our clients. Could it be there is a configuration that needed to be done at the app server end, which sends out the email? we're using php sender most probably.

  It could be, though as far as that is concerned I wouldn't have any advice on how to resolve it.
