Hi @Optimizr, Just checking it is enabled in the Features package assigned to the account and Edit Reseller Nameservers and Privileges, if it is a reseller account?

I am sorry, it is not a reseller account and I have logged in as root.

As @ZenHostingTravis suggested you should make sure this is ticked in the features. You can do so from WHM under Feature Manager if I recall correctly.

Thank you @ZenHostingTravis and @andrew.n. I disabled it in the default feature list instead of creating new list. Now, everything's ok!

Ahh, sorry! It is still not ok. If I disable the "file and directory restoration" for cPanel user, it would disabled in WHM for that user too. Same behaviour even with the custom feature list. Why would cPanel do that? Or am I doing something wrong?

Because this is done per account and the account you're viewing using doesn't have the feature enabled for it. For example my account has the feature enabled: When i go to File and Directory Restoration I see: When I disable that feature for the account I see: This is due to the fact that when you enable this feature it gives the user file and directory restoration permissions, without that when you attempt to restore through the WHM interface, when it has to restore as the user is not privileged to do so.

So, for now, If I have to restore a folder; I have temporarily enable "File and Directory Restoration" for that user and then start the restoration. After the restoration is completed I have disable that feature for the user again since I don't want them to play around and messed up with it. Which is wired WHM should have the authority to override but as you said when I comes to files and directories permissions against security, it is acceptable. Thank you!
