In a new cpanel install, when a user goes to mail.mydomain.net is seeing the file tree. I wish to make this show a default webpage but cannot figure out how. Thanks for the support

  Thanks for this is insight it is interesting for future setup. On the other hand I am asking if its possible to set CPANEL/WHM to display a custom page instead of the file root / index page . The domain mail.mydomain.com has been auto provisioned and is the mail server path - I want that when a person visits this address he sees a page (ideally this happens to every account created - before clients or ourselves uploads the web content to the html folder. Thanks again

  The skeleton directory might do this for you, you might look at the documentation on it here: Skeleton Directory | cPanel & WHM Documentation to see if it'll meet your needs
