OS version
Hi, i had assume that my server was loaded with CentOS 7 but after some investigation i found this..
[QUOTE]
Linux version 2.6.32-896.16.1.lve1.4.49.el6.x86_64 (gcc version 4.4.7 20120313 (Red Hat 4.4.7-18) (GCC) ) #1 SMP Fri Jan 5 05:15:23 EST 2018
So that is that, pure linux no third party distro, just pure linux? I have always used CentOS but this is not CentOS. Where can i found out about exactly what i have.. thanks :) I edited this to remove their email address in the data, oops..

You have CentOS 6 with CloudLinux installed hence the special kernel (you can see it from "lve") otherwise it would just be "el6". Don't forget that it will be EOL (end of life) in November however if you can't migrate away till then for an extra fee CloudLinux do keep provide support for this version. P.S.: next time just use "cat /etc/issue" or "cat /etc/redhat-release" commands to figure out the OS version :) 0 -
Thank you very much for the lesson, i will use those commands next time :0 0 -
Glad you were able to get this resolved and thanks @andrew.n! 0
