SFTP with private key not working since the update

Since I updated CPanel yesterday I can not access SFTP using a private key. I even recreated the key and had the same problem. No problem accessing SSH though Any ideas?

  Which client applications ( eg: FileZilla or any other ) you are using? Have you tried to sftp from shell prompt? Do you see any errors while connecting?

  Very strange WinSCP will not connect. Fireilla is now fine and COREFTP sometimes connects sometimes does not common error is invalid password even though I copy and paste it everytime. Nothing changed except for this update. Prior to the update I have never had any prolems logging in,

  Once check if WinSCP installed on your machine has updates available.

  It sounds like the issue is more to do with WINSCP than anything else. I'd second @kodeslogic advice and check for updates.
