No Network after reboot on Fresh Install

Hi. I have Centos7.6 fresh minimal install on a VM. Followed the instructions on Installation | cPanel & WHM Documentation including disabling networkmanager and started network.service and enabled it. ifcfg files for ens192 and lo have ONBOOT=yes but neither had NMCONTROLLED in them. Did the Cpanel install and was able to access WHM fine. After all that I rebooted and now the network is not reachable. ifcfg-ens192 looks fine. "ip address" shows the correct IP assigned to ens192, but "route -n" shows Destination 169.254.0.0 Gateway 0.0.0.0 Got me stumped i'm afraid. Was working fine prior to reboot.

  Hi Looks like it's an issue with Centos7. On a new bare Centos7.6 minimal install, if I disable NetworkManager, check ifcfg-ens192 and ifcfg-lo and "NM_CONTROLLED=no" is not in the config, but "ONBOOT=yes" is, then start network.servce, enable it and reboot, the bare centos7 install has the same issue.

  Sorry. Totally my issue. Had the wrong Submask when I changed from DHCP to Static. :mad:
