Helpme transfer cpanel to my WHM
Hi, I'm having a problem when I want to transfer a cpanel account from one server to another.
The account was generated on my server from WHM CS and then from the cpanel of the other server I generated the fullbackup scp but when trying to transfer the account to my WHM it gave me an error because the domain already exists in an account.
IN my WHM cpanel was created with another username but the same domain of the cpanel account that I want to migrate.
Could you help me to know how I can transfer your cpanel to the account that is already in my WHM?

Hi @jesus6144, Some suggestions: * You can overwrite the existing account but it sounds like you don't want to do that; * You can take a backup of the existing account before terminating it; * You can rename the primary domain of the existing cPanel account and then transfer the new one across. Please note, if you change the primary domain, the website won't function and you would need to make changes to Wordpress (if it's used), the database and so on. Hope that helps! 0 -

Oh thanks for answering me !!!; I would not mind overwriting the account, I think the problem is that the account in my WHM has a different username (the user is registered from WHMCS), If I rename the account the same as the cpanel that I am going to transfer, then it overwrites and it would not give the error that the domain exists? Or can I delete the new account (it doesn't have data) in my WHM the one that has the domain (created from whmcs) and then make the transfer?0 -
It'd probably best to delete the new account completely, if that's an option. That way you wouldn't run into any of the aforementioned issues. 0 -

You're welcome. You could either rename it or delete it but I agree with @cPanelLauren that deleting it completely is probably the best option.0
