CNAME record option not found

Hi I am trying to create a CNAME Record using cPanel but somehow CNAME option is not appearing. This is what I am doing.

• Sign in to my cPanel account.
• Under the "Domains" section, click on the "DNS Zone Editor" icon.
• Selecting my domain from the list .
• Clicking manage
• Press the ADD RECORD button
• Only MX option is avaialble . Not CNAME option available

What am i doing wrong ?
