WHM Transfer - rsync - bwlimit

Is there anyway possible to use the rsync option: --bwlimit=RATE
Trying to reduce some IO issues on the remote server. Does cPanel use the OS's rsync or cPanel uses its own? Was thinking we could create some kind of wrapper as a last resort. Thanks!

  We don't use a custom package for it, we use the system's rysnc but there isn't a built-in or native way to modify the options it uses. Whether or not you create a wrapper for this I think this would make a useful feature request. if you do end up creating one please update the thread here with the link.
