I keep getting the "You must reboot the server to apply software updates" with Kernalcare installed

Hi, We have Kernalcare installed, but on every update we are still always getting the notification to restart the server. We subscribed to the Kernalcare so that we don't have to constantly have to reboot the server, this week along we had this notice for 2 times already. What am I missing here? Thanks
