    Hey there! I see some variance on my personal machine, but not nearly that much: $ curl -s -w "%{time_total}\n" -o /dev/null https://www.google.com 0.446463 $ curl -s -w "%{time_total}\n" -o /dev/null https://www.google.com 0.320197 $ curl -s -w "%{time_total}\n" -o /dev/null https://www.google.com 0.407489 $ curl -s -w "%{time_total}\n" -o /dev/null https://www.google.com 0.217520
Since the issue is also happening with your outbound connections to Google it seems like an issue that is happening with the network in general and not an issue with the cPanel configuration on the system. I don't have much I can provide for that specific problem, but if it's that easy to reproduce on the server side I would hope the host is able to do some additional testing.

Thanks for the response. I wasn't sure where to start. If these fools can't get this figured out soon I might have to find a new host. I'm just hoping it could be a simple config error.

Looks like they had some issues with their DNS Resolver. Switching it to google has fixed the curl test in terminal. I'm still experiencing the error with wordpress, but that appears to be another issue.

I'm glad at least part of the issue is working better than before though!
