How to let customers upgrade WP Toolkit Lite to Deluxe?
I"ve installed WP Toolkit Lite on 1 server to test it.
How to let customers upgrade WP Toolkit Lite to Deluxe within cPanel/WHMCS?
Non-reseller customers should be able to order/add WP Toolkit for a domain, addon or subdomain within the cPanel/WHMCS client area, and Reseller should be able to do the same, and the cPanel Partner is then charged to their Partner account?
How does it work exactly?

Hi @HostXNow_Chris , [QUOTE]How to let customers upgrade WP Toolkit Lite to Deluxe within cPanel/WHMCS?
Account access to WordPress Toolkit Deluxe is currently managed through feature lists, which means a Package in WHM has to be created that includes this feature, and assigning that Package to a user will grant them the upgraded access. We are currently working with the WHMCS team to make this process easier by allowing Deluxe to be assignable to cPanel accounts directly instead of through Features/Packages. This change means that your WordPress Toolkit upsell buttons can be configured to take the user directly to a specific WordPress Toolkit Deluxe upgrade page where they can purchase it through your WHMCS store and not have to change their Package. Since WordPress Toolkit Deluxe is assigned at the account level, functionality would already be provided for add-on domains and subdomains. Regarding resellers, our current system only supports limiting resellers at the package level. With our new system, you will be able to directly limit the reseller on the number of WordPress Toolkit Deluxe that they can assign to accounts.0 -

Ok. I was just checking the video at cPanel Live - Introducing WordPress Toolkit for cPanel and that would be difficult as would involve a lot of manual work. What you suggest now sound easier to work with. Any ETA for that? Cheers.0 -
We're handling the cPanel & WHM work now, targeted at version 98, which is scheduled for an EDGE tier release sometime in June. We hope to include a tool for converting Deluxe users from packages to the new system as well. 0 -
I notice when doing Mass Update using the Plugins or Themes tabs, it doesn't actually update them even though it takes nearly all day to go through them. Is that because status needs to manually be set to update Plugins and Themes from the Installations tab first? What if the server owner wants to Mass Update all Plugins and Themes on the server without updating the Core WordPress Files without manually setting each WP installation to update Plugins and Themes automatically first - is that possible? Softaculous includes everything for a $1/month for the entire server, and it's quite a difference when switching to WP Toolkit because by not using WP Toolkit Deluxe it increases the risk of security issues for server provider, website owner and the internet in general, i.e. hacked websites thus more phishing/malware/spam websites. I could understand WP Toolkit wanting to charge for the Clone/Staging feature and the Smart Update (Softaculous doesn't have Smart Update). Still, it should be free for the server owner to Mass Update all WordPress CMS Core Files, Themes and Plugins for security reasons, IMO. I did Mass Update of Plugins and Themes, but either the stats on those tabs haven't updated or didn't actually do anything due to the reasons I mentioned above? Please clarify. Cheers. 0 -
Need to be able to sort installations by whether cron job is enabled or disabled and be able to have a mass update option to enable or disable cron jobs. Also, add - Sort by enabled/disabled installations
- Sort by enabled/disabled plugins
- Sort by enabled/disabled themes

Even with Plugins and Themes set to automatically update, they still don't update when using the Plugins and Themes tabs. So will have to leave this at the moment. 0
