Can tracker and analytics code ie googletagmanager, etc, be removed in Jupiter? Because that's not nice and there's no reason to do so. You already do it in WHM, which I somehow understand, but why would you spy on our customers? Not ethical at all.

Sorry if this has been addressed already but will jQuery customization page but I inferred it was for adding new interfaces.

Hello! I will inquire and see what information I can find.

We do anticipate UI Includes (or something that fulfills the need for content injection) arriving in 2022.

@cPanelAdamF Thank you, this is helpful. I'd also appreciate it if there's a workaround to include such global JS/CSS for the moment if actual UI includes feature is going to take time to land in Jupiter. I'm also happy that you folks are adding icons back to the interface as well. While I do appreciate the minimal aesthetic you folks were going for, I believe it'd be a lot better with minimal matching icons (like the ones for the category section). Can't wait for that. I'm hoping the directory layout for placing custom icons would hopefully be the same as before"inside the styled
directory? Or would that be different? One more thing"I noticed on a new dev cPanel installation, that the paper_lantern
theme used the "glass" style and the icons were missing here. Would icons make an appearance once again in "glass" style for paper_lantern
    as well?

No, the icons won't be returning to the Glass style...because Paper Lantern is being removed entirely. (

Icons won't be returning to the Glass style, Icons aren't in Jupiter, and Paper Lantern is being removed, so what you're telling us is that going forward, cPanel is a text-only control panel. This news is very helpful for my product decisions going forward. It means that cPanel no longer offers a differentiating feature set vs. just learning how to manage my own server through the commandline. P.S. I really don't know how to explain 35 years of user interface design to anyone who feels that icons are in any way optional in a user interface. Imagine trying to use your cell phone with just a text list of app names. If this is the long-term plan for cPanel/WHM, then I will need to consider other options. No I'm not going to waste time developing a replacement theme that will likely become incompatible down the road as WHM throws out the next baby with the bathwater and adopts another styling engine.

Icons are making a comeback as explained in this post:

I adhere to the motion to deactivate or edit the left panel links (solutions, wp toolkit, etc).

Hi, Is there any way to add UI includes like in paper_lantern? if not will it be supported in the future? is there an alternative? Thanks, Ignacio

Hello! I believe the following guide should help.

Thanks @cPanelAnthony but that's for plugins. What I meant was something like this but for Jupiter: Guide to cPanel Interface Customization - UI Includes " cPanel & WHM Developer Portal Ignacio

Would love to know about UI Include as well, as it would let us do easy CSS fixes on our own.

Sorry about that! I will make a note to look into this and get back to the thread.

I adhere to the motion to deactivate or edit the left panel links (solutions, wp toolkit, etc).

I second that. A way to disable the "Solutions" link would be very helpful (maybe offer it as an option in WHM > Tweak Options).

Speaking on behalf of myself and my business, we don't want to spend time customizing cpanel. We don't want to be forced to remove stuff that simply isn't needed. For us it's a control panel, not an information centre. Right now with paper lantern, we get something that presents the end user with an interface to manage their hosting. That's what it is for and it works just fine. We don't want to provide "solutions" from this interface. We have other avenues for that and we don't need another area like this saturating our customers with duplicated information. I'm sure many will see customization as an opportunity to upsel or advertise their products and services - and I'm sure thats useful for some - but we should have the option to remove the left hand menu and links via WHM's "Features" option - and just have a simple control panel like it has always been until now.

Just adding my vote to maintain paper lantern. I have no need of Jupiter, there is nothing good about it.

I vote for something not as awful as the Jupiter theme. We are perfectly okay with paper lantern. Based on looks alone, maybe you should depreciate Jupiter first. Jupiter is not something I want to force on my customers. It looks really really bad. Hate it actually. You'd think with all the price increases and higher fees now we'd get better looking themes than this. Highly Frustrated with the Jupiter Theme

I'd really like to hear from cpanel about these comments. It's very clear that most of your customers do not like this Jupiter theme and don't want to inflict it onto their own customers. You're just going to push so many more of us away to Direct Admin with these really bad design decisions. These decisions simply can't have been agreed by a group of sane people. You're taking this product in the wrong direction and you're scaring your (until now) loyal customer base. Please listen to us. I've been in this business for 20 years now. You can trust that I and others like me know what we are talking about.

I would like to voice our frustrations as well with Juniper. It's a time-wasting complicated theme just to change a few elements. Cpanel used to be the people's control panel. Truly disappointed in this version. Our clients are as well.

@cPRex and the team, thanks for listening and glad you're working on the feedback received. One request from my end would be to share with us the list of items the team is planning to incorporate into Jupiter along with a release estimate so that there's clear visibility for us. Right now, it's hard to tell from the blog post whether my request to add back "UI Includes" is being considered or not and if it's going to be landing in v102. Similarly, if there are feedback items the team is most definitely not planning to add back in Jupiter, would appreciate if those are listed as well.

Hi, I work all day on cPanel accounts for my clients, mostly at night. This theme hurt my eyes. Please enable dark mode and add icons. without icons the page looks like an Excelsheet.

I've shared a bit about what we're doing and when you can expect it over in are not going to do, I hesitate to really outright say 'no, never' to things. I did not mention 'dark mode' in that list even though we got feedback from quite a few people that Jupiter is pretty dang bright right now. We're very keen on providing not only a dark mode but a handful of color schemes that hopefully will fit the bill. Its just more than we can do right this very second and would delay 102-Release unacceptably. It is certainly something we want to get right because there's considerable work throughout the UI to standardize our use of colors...not to mention accessibility concerns and aesthetic concerns as well. Everyone can actually help us out when it comes to dark mode by taking the "Jupiter Theme Feedback" survey in
