Sending from dedicated IP not working
I lease a server from GoDaddy.
The server has its own dedicated IP, but email always seem to be sent by GoDaddy's secureserver.net IP's which are always flagged for SPAM making my emails bounce. I have even tried turning on "Send mail from the account"s IP address" with the same result.
I have been trying for 3 days now to send an email to someone bur spamcop has secureserver.net ip's on their list and bouncing the emails.
What am I missing to get around secureserver.net IP's?
Thanx

Completely understood, thank you for confirming that this isn't related to GoDaddy's email relay. In order to investigate this specific instance of sending email via dedicated IP addresses not working, could you open a support ticket using the link in my signature? Once done, please let me know the ticket ID so I can stay on top of it and update this thread. Thank you! 0 -

Thanks for the update! I will check back on this ticket in a few days if I don't hear back, but please don't hesitate to update us with the solution once one is reached. 0 -
The answer to this question is too bad. GoDaddy has port 25 blocked throughout the entire network and they will not unblock it, They say it is to prevent spam, but I want to use my dedicated IP because of the SPAM and blacklisting of the GoDaddy IP's. Like many ISP's, the blocking of Part 25 is to spy on you and sell your information, not spam prevention. AND that is why sending email through your dedcated IP will not work regardless of the cpanel settings 0 -
Thank you for the update. Were you able to find a workaround for your mail sending needs? For example, did you perhaps setup a smarthost to relay email from your server? 0 -

As I mentioned above, there is no workaround because of the port 25 block which forces you to use the goDaddy relays. You can do all the SmartHost modifications you want but it will not do any good as the network will force you through the goDaddy relays.0 -
Thank you for this confirmation; it's good to note that GoDaddy implements such strict restrictions. 0
