Unable to clone public GitHub repo via https
I am beta testing a brand new CPanel/CloudLinux (sorry cannot provide more specific details as I do not have root access from home) virtual server for our school. I tried to clone a public GitHub repo (a WordPress theme I host) both via the command line and by the CPanel interface. I used ': error:140943E8:SSL routines:ssl3_read_bytes:reason(1000)
CPanel:
IT seems to think the access denied is at the GitHub end. I think we're not even making out of the server. Anyone encounter this error and what is needed to solve it?

Hi! Yes, I followed the steps for cloning a repo as described in the link you posted: git clone loads as http only. I do get the "Note: You don"t have a dedicated IP address." Could that be the reason for lack of https? 0
