DNS problem after migration
Hello.
I got a problem when trying to migrate some domains and websites between two dedicated servers.
Context :
- Server 1 : dedicated with centos 7 and cpanel
- Server 2 : dedicated with centos 7 and cpanel
- Domain 1 registrar : OVH
- Domain 2 registrar : InternetBS
- Domain 3 registrar : OVH
-------------
So for those 3 domains, I wanted to migrate them from server 1 to server 2.
For domains 1 & 2, I used the cpanel transfer account tool on server 2 to retrieve everything : websites, mails... (one domain = one account).
Then I changed on registrar main nameserver (the second is same for server 1 and 2).
Finally I deleted account from server 1.
I tried a manual transfer for domain 3 :
- copied and uploaded database and website files in a new account in server 2, changed DNS then deleted account on server 1.
It's about 8 hours I done this and when I use whatsmydns or Intodns, it shows data from old and new server
INTODNS show me 3 nameserver : old server, new server and secondary nameserver.
WHATSMYDNS show me IP from old and new server depending on country.
It's like DNS can't properly spread.
The weird thing is for a fourth domain, everything is OK. 1 hour after transfer, everything is ok.
I have no idea of what is hapenning.
If someone can help me.
Thank you.

Thanks for your help. I checked this config but everyhing looks ok. What you see in the second intodns screen is the nameserver of the old server. He is not supposed to be here. As you can see in NS RECORDS FROM YOUR NAMESERVERS, there is old and new server together, which is not good. 0 -
@apitus Could you open a support ticket using the link in my signature and provide me with the incident ID? Or, if you are unable to, could you ask your web hosting provider to do so? We could review the configuration, but would need access to the host. 0 -
Here is ticket ID : 94387710 Thank you. 0 -

Have you tried going to the WHM option "DNS Zone Manager"? Go there on Server 2. Access the domain with problems, and see all the records. Locate all NS records. You should have an incorrect NS record. Can you verify this?0 -
