FTP won't connect after reset the root password

Hey, I changed the root password for my server and WHM and cPanel. I can log in to WHM and cPanel but I cannot connect to the FTP client. I have tried with the FTP account password and the server root password and cPanel password and it won't connect. I really don't know what is wrong. I checked the log file for FTP and there were no errors. Can somebody help?

  Hello! When you say it won't connect, what error do you get? Knowing the specific error message via the FTP client might shed some light on the issue.

  It looks like the FTP connections aren't even hitting the server. What happens if you telnet test to your server's IP address via port 21?

  Hey, I figured out the issue. The IP address for the domain was changed so I have to replace the www.domain.com with IP address.
