install crashes
I'm trying to install cPanel on a clean Centos8
Done the prelim stuff OK, but running sh latest, the script runs a few seconds then crashes out with :
Died at /home/cPanelInstall/selfgz19183/Installer.pm line 136
Last command in the log is Configuring networking now.
Suggestion please.
Regards,
Owen

Hello! Do you get any error output from the cPanel install log? The information you provided isn't specific enough /var/log/cpanel-install.log0 -

Yes.. As I said... the last entry in the log is "Configuring Network now." Everything before that appears normal/successful.0 -
I've check the network... I can access the server by SSH.. The message after the install crashes says "Died at /home/cPanelInstall/selfgz19183/Installer.pm line 136" .. but that files doesn't exist, infact the home/cPanelInstall is empty! 0 -

Would you be able to open a support ticket with cPanel using the link in my signature? Or, if you're unable to, could you ask your web hosting provider to do so? Give me the ticket ID once you have it so I can keep track.0 -

Thanks for the Reply Anthony... I am abandoning this at the moment to try the Cloud Linux as per the other thread. Appears I don't have Access to submit a ticket anyway. I have a 30 user licence from my Host, but I basically rent bare metal and they are not interested in support.. it is cheap tho :)0 -

Thanks for the heads up! I hope you're able to get this resolved.0
