Manual Export convert to MBOX/PST

I've manually downloaded a Sent Mails folder via FTP because it's size was too big, 4,5GB, and Hoard wasnt able to export to MBOX. Did it by my Host provider support suggestion. All the mails are in a unknown type (at least I dont know what it is): Hi, Now I need to import it to GMAIL via MBOX OR a PST File. Since it's a Sent Mails folders, Gmail isn't importing it via its regular solution (POP3). How could I do it? Thanks in advance.

  Hello! Just to confirm, when you said you're unable to export via Horde, does this mean the following instructions won't work?

  I would like to tell you that if you want to import MBOX file to Gmail then you can use GAMMO tool to import PST files after conversion. OR you can import MBOX to Mozilla Thunderbird and then setup an account from Thunderbird to Gmail mailbox using IMAP.
