Hello, I need to transfer cPanel account to another hosting. I follow this guide (

    You should use the "Backup" option in your cPanel account to create a full backup instead which includes the DNS zones as well and ask your new hosting provider to restore the backup for you.

    Hi Andrew, I've already tried but the new hosting provider asked me to buy the migration service. I can recreate the record manually, but there are two records I don't know: - TXT record named " _cpanel-dcv-test-record.domain.com" - TXT record named " _acme-challenge. .domain.com" I must create this?

    Good question. I think it wouldn't hurt but it is possible that cPanel will automatically create these if missing after the first time the free SSL certificate is issued on the domain name (It is being used for verification purposes). I would double check with your new hosting provider I think there is a misunderstanding. If you provide them a full backup they should be able to restore that pretty quickly and probably without any charge while if they need to manually migrate the account (as you do now) they charge for that.

    HI These record are setup automatically in DNS zone when hosting account created, if you don't want these records then your can delete it . Regards HostNoc

    The permissions are the same of old hosting, and under public_html folder there is not index file because there is WordPress (like old hosting). On internet I found a guide for view the site under development, modifying the file host in Windows with the IP address of new hosting. I tried this, but i see the follow error: Forbidden You don't have permission to access this resource.Server unable to read htaccess file, denying access to be safe Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Ah sorry I forgot you don't have root access to the server. In that case you need to ask your hosting provider about this and they should be able to let you know why you are seeing this error.

    Hello, the hosting support has resolved the error, there was a permission problem. But in file manager the permissions were correct, just to understand. Thank you.

    Sorry, I see that it work before to transfer the file from old hosting. After to transfer public_html folder I see a 503 error Service Unavailable... Edit: seems the error of Varnish cache.
