Totally purge maxmind files and start over

Hello. I hope everyone is safe and healthy. Anyone have experience purging maxmind data from a centos 7 server? My versions of maxmind is several versions old according to: geoipupdate 2.5.0 They are up to v4.00 As well I have a number of .csv maxmind files and binaries throughout the system. The maxmind guy says best to uninstall the previous revs and versions, since update will not but rather just get the new version without purging older. I'd like to start from scratch and re-install the geolite binaries. Suggestions?

  Hello! Despite MaxMind not being supported by cPanel, I did some research and was unfortunately unable to turn up anything useful. Perhaps some users here will be able to help.
