Hello! I'm confused as to what you're asking. What's working without an SSL? Are you saying some domains show the green padlock despite having no SSL installed?

I'd suggest you search for "linux free ssl" for example.

In my case, SSL works But I do not remember to have installed anything... well? My VPS server is CentOS 7.9 - cPanel/WHM - LAMP from GoDaddy Europe

That is because "cPanel (powered by Sectigo)" AutoSSL provider is enabled by default. You can disable or change it if that is what you are trying to do by going to WHM >> SSL/TLS >> Manage AutoSSL Documentation:

SSL cert for yyy.com expired? Is it really needed? As I have applied auto switch to HTTPS:// - with .htaccess file - for some other domains and worked WITHOUT HAVING SSL??? Please provide cPanel/WHM Documentation URL/REFERENCES for Linux Auto SSL...? My VPS server is CentOS 7.9 - cPanel/WHM - LAMP

If you are using a third party SSL certificate, by default, AutoSSL will NOT replace it unless you configure it todo so. WHM -> Manage AutoSSL -> "Options" tab -> Enable "Allow AutoSSL to replace invalid or expiring non-AutoSSL certificates."
