domain not resolving

I am experiencing a problem with one of my servers. My hostname and hostnames domain is not resolving. From server I can ping hostname (server.domain.tld) but not the domain (domain.tld) From clients I can not ping neither hostname nor domain

  Do you host the domain on the server? (i.e using the name servers of the server?)

  yes they are in the same server using the nameservers of the server

  okay I believe you are able to resolv the domains from outside ("from clients") with "nslookup domain.com" command. Do you have any firewall on the server? Can you try to disable that? Some of the providers like AWS or GCP automatically blocks ping by default so it might also be a good idea to see if they are doing this as well.
