Backup
One of my website hosted with a shared cpanel server of another provider. Total size of that account is around 10 GB including database, website files and the emails. i would like to move that website to my own vps server. But the problem is backup Feature is disabled by the provide in cpanel. 10 GB manual migration is too difficult. so how to take the backup. is there any scripts available to run inside an account. or is there any option to get the backup.

10GB is not much, the truth is little, I have manually moved up to 70GB - is full backup available in passive mode? in this way you send it to the new server. - What occupies most of the available space, website, database, emails? - Website: if it is a cms, make a copy with an available plugin and that's it. otherwise compress all the public_html and restore it on the new server - Databases: export them manually from phpmyadmin and restore them from the same place (if they are very large +50MB ask the administrator for help) - emails: you can create the accounts on the new server and migrate the information manually, the path where all the emails are stored is: user-cpanel/mail/domain.tdl/mail-account use the following command, compress, download and transfer to the new server and that's it tar -xzvf /home/user-cpanel/mail/domain.tdl
