Jupiter Icons
how do I go about allowing users to turn on Icons in the Jupiter theme. Just becasue one developer (or lead) does not fidn icons useful, in no way means they should be fully removed!

Same question. Clients want their icons back. This was a bad move. 0 -
1000% agree with this. I want my icons back! This just makes me angry!!!! 0 -
100000% thumbs up. We want our icons :) 0 -

Even icons can't improve the poor wishy washy design! Customers have pleaded with us to put them back on Paper Lanthern, it's embarrassing, they think we designed the new theme, I was quick to point out we didn't and apologise. And to add "why is my website down?" as a link in the looking for something else section shows how little you consider the hosting companies. Why an earth would we want to draw attention to down time? That's the last thing we want!0 -
I'll add my voice, Jupiter completely sucks and likely will only suck slightly less with icons. And what great news, "The Paper Lantern theme for cPanel is now deprecated, and we will remove it. We suggest that you switch all cPanel accounts to the new Jupiter theme". We are forced to use the sucky design...thanks for that  So @cPRex, how do we update to 102? I am on 100.0.9 and there doesn't seem to be an option to upgrade further. 0 -
Hi All, @cPRex, having just updated all my servers (x5) to 100.0.9. and then hitting up Jupiter (stupidly) thinking that would retain my Basic style, I now have the Glass style that I detest and have complained about for months. It is enforced on my system via Jupiter, with zero icons, and zero 'Change Style' option, and I am hitting up Paperlantern, until someone at cPanel comes to their senses and fixes a broken system. Jupiter = "time-wasting solution to a problem that did not exist". And every CPanel user will see this (emphasis on crap added) "Introducing Jupiter, a new theme for cPanel. We have improved the cPanel interface for both new and experienced users. Our goal is to make cPanel more user-friendly and feature-rich. For more information, read our 0 -
Hi All Just to be clear Version 102 is now Current, that does not mean it is recommended for production and I would not be updating until 102 moves to Stable which is not expected before March. CURRENT Released January 20, 2022 RELEASE Anticipated February 2022 STABLE Anticipated March 2022 Still Bah Humbug on Jupiter and Glass with the removed Change Style and Icons. 0 -
please please do not force us to jupiter so quickly. many many customers nagging and are angy about the new theme. we got many support tickets so we went back to paperlantern 0 -
Now move to LTS to retain paper_lantern # sed -i$(date +.%Y-%b-%d-%H-%M-%S) -E -e "/CPANEL/d" -e "1i CPANEL=lts" /etc/cpupdate.conf 0 -
@IndicHosts.net - you can't downgrade major cPanel versions. While that would change the file, you wouldn't be able to downgrade from 102 to 94. 0 -
As many others have voiced, their concerns are that of ours too. The new cPanel Jupiter theme is simply a downgrade in terms of usability, and our customers are finding it simply horrible to use. Converting the old UI in to what is now a text-based theme without icons and visual cues is a step backwards. Navigation is key when it comes to managing hosting in a speedy and efficient manner. Please retain the Paper Lantern theme until you are able to produce something of as near as good, and crack on with tackling the issue of missing applications which includes the popular WordPress Manager. 0
