    Hi, you can increase the space by two methods 1) from the screenshot it shows the partition style is LVM so you can remove the LVM for /backup and extend the space to /home

    HI, @dsteam Be careful when you play with LVM that may corrupt the data, so if you just need to make use of /backup disk then try the second method as I suggested ( assigning unused disk to /home2 for new accounts) . or you can contact me via skype or via site, I can help you with that.

    Try to Rename /backup as /home2 and use it. It is safer than merging the two partitions.
