Web Template - External scripts

Hi. I'm having some issues getting my bootstrap library to the web template. I am not entirely sure if my implication is wrong. Or of the template configuration does not support external code / scripts. If anyone has used external scripts and know they work could answer here that would be great! (I can use inline but I prefer libraries ;) ) Best regards.
