change only main domain for reseller account

Hello, we have client request to change only main domain of reseller account so username will remain same. As we know we can just modify account and change only domain without make changes of username or reseller privileges. Is mentioned possible without lose current setting for reseller account because client will not use current main reseller domain anymore. regards

  This can be done under Modify account option. Nothing else will be impacted just make sure that username will stay the same (as far as I remember when you change the primary domain cPanel will automatically change the username as well but you can just simply write it back what it was originally).

  Wondering, can the primary domain be changed to a domain that already exists in the reseller account? If yes, does this cause other issues?

  You will get an error then so it's not possible. First you have to remove the domain and then you can change it to be primary. You can however convert an add-on domain to a standalone account as follows:
