CPANEL-40944 - "This account has reached the fixed block count 5120000" and incorrect "exceeded bandwidth" warnings after upgrading to 104.0.4
How do I get rid of this in the v104.0.4 udate? It ruins the aesthetics of the list account columns by adding rows with unnecessary and incorrect data. no account has "exceeded its bandwidth quota"..

Hey there! I know we planned to release this feature, but I'm not familiar enough with it to know if there's a way to turn that off. I'll check things on my end and report back! 0 -
I spoke with the User Interface team and confirmed there is not currently a way to remove that option. That sounds like it would make for a good feature request if you would like to submit on using the link in my signature. As far as the incorrect data, are both accounts in your screenshot not near the 512M quota? 0 -

Did you look at the screenshot? There are no quotas. Your data is wrong. [quote] I spoke with the User Interface team and confirmed there is not currently a way to remove that option. So cPanel is now forcing upgrades to Edge releases?RELEASE 104.0.4 A version that is feature-complete and well tested CURRENT 104.0.4 A "release candidate" version that is tested but may not be feature-complete. EDGE 104.0.4 A development version for testing only and not for production servers. 0 -
No, it's just that we haven't released a new Edge version yet and 104 has moved up into the more stable tiers. 106 will be coming along soon for Edge. This just happens to be one of those times when a lot of the tiers have the same version since 102 was recently promoted to LTS. 0 -

What about the wrong data?0 -
Since it was only a partial screenshot I couldn't tell there were no quotas. I did setup a test machine without quotas and I'm not seeing that message on my end when there is an account using 512M, or more, of disk space. Since we might need to see this in action on your specific machine, could you submit a ticket to our team so we can check that? 0 -

judging by the likes of my first post it's not just my machines (its happening on both servers). It's SUPER weird that this "upgrade opportunity" is implemented with no way to disable it. If your user interface team wants me to ignore the incorrect data, they should widen the data cell so it does not make a mess in the listing of accounts. Thanks.0 -

did you set up the accounts under 102 and then upgrade to 104? Thats the only way to truly test it. Thanks.0 -
Yes - this has been a test server for a bit and was on 102 previously. 0 -

ok.. I will figure it out eventually. Thanks.0 -

ok, the "bandwidth exceeded" warning can be fixed by unticking the "unlimited" setting in a package and setting a super high limit. save it. then go back and click "unlimited" again and save. 104 does not seem to be respecting the "unlimited" tick after an upgrade. This fix does not work for the "5120000 blocks exceeded" warning. Hopefully this will be fixed in an update as it looks sloppy.0 -
I still think it would be best to submit a ticket to our team. Once we can reproduce the behavior we can get a case filed with our developers. 0 -
Just to jump in on this, I'm having the same issue on several accounts with unlimited quota running 104.0.4. I'm also seeing this against a few accounts too... "This account exceeded its bandwidth quota last month. " 0 -
I've created case CPANEL-40944 for our developers to investigate this issue. While I'm not able to completely reproduce the problem at-will, it's clear there is *something* happening behind the scenes that shouldn't. I'll be sure to post more updates as I get them. 0 -
I'm in the same boat as the rest, I have a few domains that show incorrect data such as bandwidth exceeded when in fact those domains hasn't been use for the last 2 months, plus the "5120000 blocks exceeded", that got my eye twitching, what is this refers to? is this like the node cap on cloud linux? if so, then is more wrong because we/I don't use cloud... 0 -

Yep I have the same issues with incorrect bandwidth exceeded warnings...which is something I never wanted to be notified of anyway. I also see this 5120000 blocks exceeded which is useless to me... seems like this particular warning should be more obscure. I don't know who is in charge of product design over at cPanel, but I would like to have a serious conversation with them0 -
I've included all of these concerns with the case - thanks! 0 -
Hello, I'm getting that message too: "This account has reached the fixed block count 5120000". This is happening on several accounts, none of which is over quota, and they have different disk usage, ranging from 5-6GB to over 200GB. I have noticed that accounts below 5GB don't display this message, instead they display a different one, for example an account currently using 4,9GB displays this instead: "This account has used 98% of the block count (5120000)." It seems that the "limit" that actually triggers these messages is 5GB of disk usage (or close to it). Is it possible to increase this block count limit somewhere? I have looked in Tweak Settings but haven't found an option to do it. I'm going to run a few greps in the meanwhile to see if I can find any settings related to number 5120000. Edit: I found this file: /usr/local/cpanel/Whostmgr/Accounts/UpgradeOpportunities.pm It seems to be the one where the 5120000 block limit is set. Is it safe to edit it manually? Or what's the correct way to increase this limit? 0 -
You wouldn't be able to update that file manually as that will get overwritten. It's best to wait until that case is resolved, as that will change the wording to be more user friendly and also avoid the false positives. 0 -

I am also having this problem. Started this week. Not sure why its there when all my accounts are set to unlimited quota.0 -

I have noticed this too. Mostly affects accounts with unlimited setting. But what does it even mean? What does it reference? What happens when they have reached the fixed block count?0 -
Same problem for me! 0 -
Helo guys. Same issue here. It is likely to be a bug because we don't enforce inode count. Nor even using CloudLinux. Any ETA for a fix please? 0 -
I see the seed I planted has grown into a nice tree. :-D I am sure the cPanel team will get this resolved. I will keep watching. 0 -
i can confirm this issue. i do hope it gets fixed soon. 0 -
I can jump in on the same boat with everyone else here, I just want to point out how useless this is, whoever decided to implement this shouldconsider thelayout, We have eyes, we can also see 16GB of 20GB used, we don'tneed some fixed column that ruins the layout with this,This could have been done much better So it could look like this No one would be against that, and then just have a toggle switch in tweak "Disable Quota List - disable the quota used pie chart in list accounts" Just a thought, but that "fixed block" is complete no need, It's like adding randomly there some of the "df -ih" data, this uses X inodes, generally we don't need this information and if we do we can just findthem through terminal. 0 -
Any ETA on a fix for this? 0 -
Hello....any way to solve this? 0 -
While there isn't a way to solve the issue, I'd recommend just ignoring that column for now until a fix is implemented. I know the team is working on it, but I don't have any updates to provide just yet. 0 -

How do we get rid of the column entirely? It is simply not needed and adds to the clutter.0
