password email never sent

Why is cpanel so frustrating? Everything is harder than it should be... sorry for the rant, just so frustrated. I recorded my cpanel server login information in two different places, but now it says the password is incorrect. OK, let me change it. Add my login email, fine. Add my second email to send the password reset key, fine. Email received? no. never. It never works. I had this problem 6 months ago hence the reason I stored the PW in two places. Is there some other way to reset my server password? Not the account password for my billing, etc. The actual server password. Would be great if their system just worked.
