problem with cloud linux and yum
Hi to all
I will be run command "yum update" or "yum update kernel"
but it showing me error:
[QUOTE]
linux-firmware = 20200421-79.git78c0348.el7
Error: kernel-core conflicts with kexec-tools-2.0.15-51.el7_9.3.x86_64
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
Also, I did run command: "yum update kernel --skip-broken" but show errors: [QUOTE] Packages skipped because of dependency problems: 1:kernel-4.18.0-372.16.1.lve.el7h.x86_64 from cloudlinux-rollout-8 1:kernel-core-4.18.0-372.16.1.lve.el7h.x86_64 from cloudlinux-rollout-8 1:kernel-modules-4.18.0-372.16.1.lve.el7h.x86_64 from cloudlinux-rollout-8
Also, I did check it in Google and two page in cPanel was there and check theme but not working. Here this link thank you

Hey there! Were you able to try the "yum update kexec-tools --enablerepo=cl7h_beta" command from that second link? If so, did that not resolve the issue? 0 -

I did. But: [QUOTE] [root@CN~]# yum update kexec-tools --enablerepo=cl7h_beta Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, rhnplugin, universal-hooks This system is receiving updates from CLN. Error getting repository data for cl7h_beta, repository not found0 -
Thanks for that confirmation. Can you confirm if the Protectbase plugin is enabled? If so, could you disable it and then do this? yum install kexec-tools yum update kernel-debug-core yum update kernel-core
to see if that gets things working?0 -

That work only needed to be performed after the Protectbase package was removed. Was that package also present and did you remove it? 0 -

No, I did not. How should it be done?0 -
Can you run this command to see if that is present? rpm -qa | grep -i protectbase

Thanks for that confirmation. I don't have any other ideas from the CloudLinux team at this point. If your CloudLinux license is purchased through cPanel, can you submit a ticket to our team? If not, please contact CloudLinux directly and they will be able to help. 0 -
Sure, I'm grateful IF they can help me and fix this problem, back and write about it for other people like me have this problem. thank you 0 -
