Hi. I use the Litespeed web server for cPanel. I use php versions 7.4 and 8.1. I am getting a message in the control panel "Update detected for installed EasyApache PHP timezoneDB extension(s). Update Now". When I run that, I get the following result.

- EA4 PHP 5.5 not installed!
- EA4 PHP 5.6 not installed!
- EA4 PHP 7.0 not installed!
- EA4 PHP 7.1 not installed!
- EA4 PHP 7.2 not installed!
- EA4 PHP 7.3 not installed!

- **ERROR** EA4 PHP 7.4 Extension not loaded by any ini, please run script again.

Hey there! I also don't see that package using EasyApache on my personal system. Can you run the following command and let us know the output? rpm -qa | grep -i timez

Thanks # rpm -qa | grep -i timez cpanel-perl-532-datetime-timezone-2.43-1.cp1198.noarch cpanel-php74-horde-timezone-1.1.0-1.cp11102.noarch 0 -
Thank youI 0 -
You're very welcome! Let me know if that doesn't get things working how you expect. 0 -
Unfortunately did not work. I even tried uninstalling and re-installing via their script with no change in effect. I'll take this up on their forums though. I appreciate the the help and link! 0 -
Except their forums won't let me register. ;-) Should I take this up with cPanel support? 0 -
Sure - there's no reason you couldn't submit a ticket to our team so we can take a look! 0 -
Same here on different servers, will report back with LiteSpeed's reply. 0 -
same issue with us yes 0 -
same issue here - could you let us know whatever the solution is when you get it? 0 -
@Duplika - have you heard back from them yet? 0 -
I'm holding off creating a cPanel ticket in case anything is heard from LiteSpeed. That said, I do license LiteSpeed through cPanel, so maybe a cPanel support ticket is appropriate. 0 -
Sure, if your license is through us, feel free to make that ticket! 0 -

My LiteSpeed license is through cPanel inc. My cPanel license is through my data centre. I'll try though :-) Thanks.0 -
Same issue on my server as well. 0 -
I started a cPanel support ticket, # 94474989 0 -
Thanks for that - I'm following along with that ticket on my end now. 0 -
LiteSpeed confirmed via ticket they are working on a rewrite of the timezoneDB detection script, and that these warnings can be safely ignored for now. 0 -

Thanks. I got much the same message from cPanel support overnight as well.0 -
@Duplika and @verdon - thanks for sharing!!! 0 -
I'm noticing the same issue - no fix yet!? 0 -
@HostXNow_Chris - at this point it is in Litespeed's hands, but I haven't heard much on my end. 0 -

not yet that I can see0 -
Following this thread for when LS gets this fixed. 0 -
Still no fix available. One client alerted that now, LiteSpeed requests to install php56-devel or 71 to fix this (even though the mentioned versions are not even installed on EasyApache). I guess we should wait for LiteSpeed to properly rewrite their timezone detection script. 0 -
Update - I spoke with the Litespeed team and they said the fix *could* be released as soon as today, but if not, sometime next week. 0 -
Update - they are planning to push this next Tuesday or Wednesday. 0 -
Me too in the list of fixation this ! 0 -
LiteSpeed recently released an update of their WHM plugin, 4.1.11. We tested this and timezone warnings are gone now :)
hmmm not seeing it yet. Did you have to manually uninstall and reinstall?0
