Query about Pricing Terminology

I have a WebHostManager (WHM) account on a single server. This is currently provided by my server hosting provider. I am looking at moving servers to one which does not inherently feature WHM / CPanel as standard. I would be happy to install WHM/CPanel to run consistency for the [new] server. However, looking at

  Hey there! "account" is cPanel account - the actual cPanel account you create from WHM >> Create a New Account. If your server is not using dedicated hardware, you could use the Admin or Pro license to host multiple accounts.

  Thanks for the info. paying ~$55 dollars (~"50 per month) for a single WHM account for a single server is insane. That's more than the cost of the server itself, and it's a decent spec'd device!!!
