mod_rewrite showing modified URL in Apache access log

Greetings ... In my Website i triggered the mod_rewrite rule to make a URL pretty print, but what I need at the Apache's access log level is that I want to log the URL as its original form was with parameters, for example : article.php?id=123&cat=22 not as a URL pretty print . Any help would be appreciated . Thanks in advance .
