Install cPanel on Ubuntu 20.04.5 - unable to synchronize
I want to move my cPanel installation from old server to a new server. Because my old server runs on CentOS.
So, I just fresh install Ubuntu Server 20.04.5 on VMWare (New Server). Then I change my hostname, using hostnamectl set-hostname, after that I just go straight install cPanel, using this command

Hey there! Are you able to connect to port 80 on that network? Can you try running this command from the Ubuntu system? telnet httpupdate.cpanel.net 80

@ventustium - that looks good. I'm not sure why the installer is having connection issues based on that output. Can you contact your hosting provider or datacenter to have them check things on their end? You can also submit a ticket to our team and we can take a look. 0 -
Well, I'm the Administrator of the Data Center. I already tried using my other Internet Provider, but still get the same error on Ubuntu (Ubuntu 20.04, Ubuntu 20.04.04, Ubuntu 20.04.05). But I can install cPanel on Alma Linux, CentOS without issue. I already submit a ticket #94507529 @ventustium - that looks good.
