Backup Location

following is my disk details df -h Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on devtmpfs 63G 0 63G 0% /dev tmpfs 63G 6.2M 63G 1% /dev/shm tmpfs 63G 1.4M 63G 1% /run tmpfs 63G 0 63G 0% /sys/fs/cgroup /dev/md3 295G 243G 37G 87% / /dev/md2 2.0G 578M 1.3G 31% /boot /dev/md4 3.2T 319G 2.7T 11% /home /dev/md0 256M 5.8M 250M 3% /boot/efi /dev/loop0 3.9G 19M 3.7G 1% /tmp so /backup have no space to take backup. All free space allocated to /home. so can i use a backup folder like this /home/backup

  Yes, that is fine. You've to create the folder /home/backup first, and then enter this in the cPanel Backup Configuration settings to use it going forward during backup generation. I'd also suggest keeping backups in remote storage too.
