Stats Not Seeing Any Activity

I went into AWSTATS to get monthly stats for January and it looks like the stats stopped recording end of December. It's odd because the website I am looking at gets over 30,000 hits. So running the stats manually in SSH I get a message saying Skipping user, no activity since 0 [Wed Dec 31 16:00:00 1969] Oddly, I go into the website looking at the banners and they are falsely reporting hits as well. Looking at other domains on the server - same Not stats, no hits being recorded Any thoughts?
